House Paulsen

Located on a steep hill in Le Grand Estate, George, South Africa, the project carefully balances the views toward the ocean to the south with the northern exposure. A diagonal axis is introduced through the house, framing expansive views of the bay where steep cliffs meet the ocean's edge. This axis also serves as an organizational element, connecting the terraced levels of the house and enhancing the spatial flow throughout the design.
